Tabraiz Mohammed, D.O.

Tabraiz Mohammed, DO, specializes in hematology and oncology. Dr. Mohammed provides comprehensive care to patients suffering from a wide range of cancer conditions, including lymphoma, myeloma and breast, colorectal, lung and prostate cancer.

Because his patients often have complex conditions, Dr. Mohammed’s central goal is to work with his patients to find a treatment that best supports their individual needs. In addition to treating patient with the most up to date chemotherapy, he will use clinical trials to offer his patients all of the key advances of an academic medicine in a community setting.

As part of a team-based approach to cancer care, Dr. Mohammed regularly works with specialists across UChicago Medicine’s campus, and participates in tumor boards where the team collaborates together to provide the best possible treatment recommendations.

Dr. Mohammed is also committed to advancing medical education, and he is actively improving clinical education and board preparation for medical students, nurse practitioners and physician assistants to further foster their medical career.
