Dr. David A. Cusick earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1990. He completed his internship and residency training in internal medicine at Northwestern University, where he was appointed Chief Medical Resident. He then stayed to complete his fellowship in cardiology.

Dr. Cusick is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. He has additional training in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. Dr Cusick is a testamur of the American Board of Echocardiography subspecialty examination. He is also a Diplomat of the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.

His particular interests include preventative cardiology, coronary artery disease and congestive heart failure.
