Basic Stress Test
A stress test, sometimes called a treadmill test, helps your doctor find out how well your heart handles its workload. As your body works harder, your heart requires more fuel, and your heart has to pump more blood. The test can show if there’s a lack of blood supply to the arteries that feed the heart. This procedure lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Cardiac Catheterization
A tiny incision allows a narrow, flexible plastic tube to pass through a blood vessel into the arteries. X-rays can reveal artery narrowing or blockages. This procedure lasts approximately one hour.
Echocardiography
Echocardiography also called an echo test or heart ultrasound takes “moving pictures” of the heart with sound waves. The test provides important information about your heart and its valves. This procedure lasts approximately 40-45 minutes.

During an echocardiography stress test, ultrasound images of the heart are taken before and after you exercise on a treadmill. This test provides your heart specialist with important information about how well your heart and blood vessels are working. This test lasts approximately one hour.
Holter Monitoring
A Holter monitor is a small, battery-operated device that measures and records your heart’s activity continuously for 24 to 48 hours or longer depending on the type of monitoring used. The small device (about the size of a small camera) has wires with electrodes that attach to your skin. It records your heart’s electrical activity while you go about your daily activities.
Myoview Stress Test
During a Myoview stress test, a small amount of radioactive isotope called Myoview is injected into your vein, allowing doctors to witness blood flow while both at rest and on a treadmill. This procedure lasts approximately three hours.
Peripheral Vascular Studies
Dye is injected through a catheter into the arteries of the leg to find blockages. Blockages are often treated with angioplasty and stent placement. This procedure lasts approximately one hour.
Renal Artery Angiography
Dye is injected through a catheter into the arteries that supply blood to the kidneys. This procedure is performed to find blockages, which are often treated through angioplasty and stent placement. Renal artery angiography lasts approximately one to 1-1/2 hours.
