We've invested $3 million to increase our capacity and improve our overall efficiency at our renowned Freestanding Emergency Department in Homer Glen. 

When it opened in 2009, our Homer Glen Emergency Department provided a safe, convenient alternative to our main Emergency Department for our neighbors to the north and east of Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. At the time, it was designed to accommodate 25 patients a day with little or no wait.

Fast forward to today, we routinely see twice as many patients daily, thanks to the wonderful care provided by our Homer Glen team and the excellent reputation this facility has earned in our community.

Expansion was the best way for us to continue to serve all who come through our doors.

With our expansion now complete, we’ve increased our capacity substantially to serve you and your family even better than before.  

Highlights include:

• An additional 3 treatment rooms PLUS a procedure room

• Expanded lab workspace and a 2nd blood-draw area 

• Expanded ultrasound testing operations

Our board-certified emergency doctors can handle any illness or injury, no matter how big or small, for patients of all ages.

In the event you or your loved one is critically ill or needs surgery we have an advanced cardiac life support ambulance on-site 24/7 to take you to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox once you’ve been stabilized.
