How common is Diabetes?

According to the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nearly 26 million people have diabetes. More than 6 million of these people don't know they have the disease.

Symptoms for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes:

• Frequent urination
• Unusual thirst
• Extreme hunger
• Unusual weight loss
• Extreme fatigue

Other signs of Type 2 diabetes:
