Karen Wolowick, D.O.

Dr. Wolowick has been a practicing OBGYN for over 16 years.  She decided to venture into the world of private practice (after working for over a decade for an ever-expanding healthcare cooperation) to try to reconnect with the more intimate and rewarding aspects of women's health.  She is looking forward to spending more time with patients and focusing on the holistic approach to patients that truly makes a difference.

Born and raised in northeastern Pennsylvania, she went to college at Millersville University, where she majored in biology and played field hockey.  She went to medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA.  She then moved to Chicago for her OBGYN residency at Rush University.  Dr. Wolowick is happily married with 3 beautiful children living life in the 'burbs.

She is a board-certified OBGYN.  She is a bonafide expert in all areas of women's health and gynecological surgery.

Although she has enjoyed delivering more than 2,000 babies over the years, she will no longer be doing obstetrics.  

She loves to laugh, she's hard to shock, and she wants to make your visit as fun and comfortable as possible.
