Dr. Mary Dea Joining Silver Cross Medical Group in Lemont
Dr. Mary Dea, Board-certified Internal Medicin Physician, joins Silver Cross Medical Group in Lemont and offers same-day sick visits.
Beginning July 8, Dr. Mary Dea, DO, will see patients on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Silver Cross Medical Group Office at 15505 E. 127th St., Suite 150, in Lemont .
Dr. Dea, who will be working with Nurse Practitioner Ashley Miniet , is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician who specializes in women's health, cardiovascular health, total wellness and treating patients with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma and COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease).
She believes in preventive healthcare and the importance of mind and body wellness. As a health professional, Dr. Dea, who sees patients 18 and over, likes to work with you to achieve your heath goals and empower you to choose a healthy lifestyle.
She will offer same-day sick visits as well as convenient online scheduling.

Dr. Dea earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Chicago in 1986, and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 1993 from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove.
She served her Internal Medicine residency at Northwestern Medical Center in Chicago from 1994 to 1997, and a rotating internship at Olympia Fields Hospital from 1993 to 1994.
She has seen patients at many Chicago-area hospitals and clinics, and most recently was staff physician at McKinley Health Center in Urbana from September 2018 to May 2023.
Dr. Dea, who speaks English and Cantonese, enjoys Zumba/fitness, gardening and reading.
