“Being a good corporate citizen has been a part of Old National Bank’s DNA since the founding of the original bank in the Will County market in 1940 by C.D. Oberwortmann, Andrew Barber, and Frank Turk – three loyal Silver Cross patrons,” said Bob Diedrich, Old National Bank Market President. “Since then, the bank has grown and evolved significantly, but our mission remains unchanged: helping clients achieve financial success in the communities in which our team members live and work.”
Old National’s generous gift will be used to fund new facilities and programs including the expansion of the Emergency Department in Homer Glen and the Midwest Institute for Lung at Silver Cross.
“At Silver Cross, we believe in a shared responsibility to improve the health and well-being of our communities,” said Tracy Simons, Executive Director of the Silver Cross Foundation. “Generous businesses like Old National Bank play an important role in our efforts to meet the healthcare needs of our patients and their employees. “We value their partnership and are grateful for their investment.”
