Silver Cross Hospital Names Matt Renn Vice President of Finance

Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox has named Matt Renn Vice President of Finance. Renn, who joined Silver Cross on July 11, is responsible for overseeing Silver Cross’s long-range financial planning process, including oversight of the organization’s Revenue Cycle, which consists of Registration, Clinical Documentation Improvement, Medical Records, Central Scheduling, and Patient Accounts. 

He will also serve as a resource to enhance Silver Cross's operational teams through process improvement opportunities that drive efficiency. 

Renn joins the Silver Cross team most recently from Janus Health, a healthcare organization focused on process improvement technology platforms. He brings experience in internal audit, financial management, business development, change management, and revenue cycle operations. 

A graduate of Northern Illinois University, Renn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and is an MBA candidate at the University of Illinois Gies College of Business. He’s held leadership positions at several consulting firms, including Accenture and Accretive Health, and served as Associate Vice President at Edward-Elmhurst Health.

Renn lives in Lemont with his wife and three children.
