Dan Stevenson appointed to Silver Cross Hospital Foundation Board

Dan Stevenson has joined the Board of Directors for the Silver Cross Foundation – the 501(c)(3) fundraising arm for Silver Cross Hospital.
“Dan will be a wonderful addition to our Board,” said Tracy Simons, Executive Director of the Silver Cross Foundation. “With his expertise and support, we will seek charitable support so that Silver Cross Hospital can continue to advance and meet the healthcare needs of our patients and the community.”
With 34 years in the banking industry, Stevenson is the Senior Vice President of Commercial and Community Banking with Midland States Bank. His previous employment included roles at First Midwest Bank and AMCORE Bank, and he started his career as an analyst and portfolio manager for First Security Bank. Stevenson holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
With deep roots in the community, Stevenson served on the board of directors for many charitable and nonprofit organizations including Greater Joliet Area YMCA (former chair), Joliet City Center Partnership, Rialto Theatre Foundation Board and Amita Health Saint Joseph Medical Center. He resides in Shorewood with his wife, Jeannette, and their three children. Jeanette also raises money to support Silver Cross by volunteering in the Childerguild Gift Shop located inside the Hospital’s Lobby and as the co-chair of the 93rd annual Childerguild Ball planned for Nov. 19, 2022, at The Odyssey in Tinley Park.
Stevenson joins the other members of the Silver Cross Foundation Board of Directors: Claudia Aguirre, Ben Benson, Tim Borchert, Ruth Colby, Laura Czerkies, Susan Frangella, Judy Hageman (Treasurer), Stacy Holland (Secretary), Craig Lyons (Chairman), Kathy Miller (Vice Chairman), Jim Pitcairn, Tracy Simons (Executive Director), Nick Tyrell, Michele Vana and Heather Voorn.
