Silver Cross Foundation Appoints Board Members
The Silver Cross Foundation announces the recent appointments of John Olivieri and Craig Lyons to its Board of Directors.
“We are honored to have such accomplished business leaders and community-minded individuals join our Foundation Board of Directors,” said Tracy Simons, Executive Director of the Foundation at Silver Cross Hospital. “Through their guidance, Silver Cross Hospital will continue to bring new services and enhanced expertise to the residents of Will County and beyond."
Craig Lyons is the owner and President of Chief Performance Dynamics in New Lenox. He specializes in sales and leadership training; selling and sales process improvement; management development; strategic and sales planning; coaching; referral enhancement; customer care training and employee assessments. He conducts classes, workshops and seminars at his licensed Sandler Training Center in Mokena as well as working at client sites. Over the past 35 years, Lyons has succeeded in sales, marketing, engineering, business turnaround and executive level positions in both privately-held and global corporate enterprise environments. He has national and international expertise in the industrial and municipal safety, signaling and communication sectors. Lyons holds a MBA from Governor State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Technology from Bradley University. In service to the community, Lyons is a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus and Treasurer of the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce. He lives in New Lenox with his wife, Barbara, and has three children and two grandchildren.
John Olivieri is a Partner with Olivieri Brothers Architects and Olivieri Real Estate in Mokena. Having grown up in the family business – Olivieri General Contracting Company, Olivieri knew at a young age he wanted to be an architect. He graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Architecture Design Degree. John and Don bought out two Uncles in 1987 to become partners in 1987. Additionally in 1991, he formed Olivieri Real Estate with his brother Don, Jr. Over the years, they have been recognized as two of the leading non-residential architects and real estate professionals in the Will County area. Specifically, John oversees 10 to 15 architectural projects annually and the leasing and property management of 400,000 sq. ft. of office space in eastern Will County. He is active on many charity boards and serves on numerous volunteer committees with Lincolnway Special Recreation Association, Village of Mokena, YMCA, Olympia Fields Country Club Landmark Foundation, Urban Land Institute, ForeverUMovement, Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce, Union League Club of Chicago Real Estate Committee, and Mokena Chamber of Commerce. He currently serves as the President of the Mokena Park District Board of Commissioners, Cancer Support Center Board of Directors and is a Director on the Will County Center for Economic Development. Olivieri lives in Mokena with his wife, Jeanne Marie, and three children who are all in college pursuing degrees in the healthcare industry.
Lyons and Olivieri join the other 15 members of the Silver Cross Foundation Board of Directors. They are Dorothy Brown (Secretary), Ruth Colby, Carolyn Dystrup, Mona Goeken, Judy Hageman, (Treasurer), Stacy Holland, Mike Jarigese, Lynn Lichtenaurer, Kathy Miller, Jim Pitcairn, John Quinn, Val Rand, Tracy Simons, Mark Stevens (Chairperson), and Michele Vana.
