Emergency Services

The newly expanded and remodeled Evon D. and Jack H. Keck Emergency Pavilion is staffed round-the-clock with a team of highly-skilled physicians, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses and support staff specially trained in the emergency treatment of adults, children and infants. Our staff has the professional backing of over 400 physicians including Children’s Memorial pediatric specialists who are available 24/7 to consult when necessary.

We are:

• A state-designated Level II Trauma Center
• Recognized by the Illinois Department of Public Health as an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics
• One of only 6% of the nations emergency departments that is certified by the Society for Chest Pain Centers as a Chest Pain Center
• Resource hospital for the Will-Grundy Emergency Medical Services (EMS) System training pamedics and first reponders with 30 fire department and ambulance services
