How will MYSilverCross benefit my health care?
MYSilverCross gives you direct online access to information from your electronic medical record (EMR). Your Silver Cross Hospital lab results, appointment information, medications, immunizations and discharge information are all securely stored for quick retrieval at anytime. You can also print a Health Summary for your records.
We take great care to ensure your health information is kept private and secure. Access to information is controlled through your personal ID and passwords. MYSilverCross uses the latest encryption technology.
Who do I contact if I have questions regarding my electronic medical record?
For questions regarding the information contained in your electronic medical record, contact the Silver Cross Medical Records Department at (815) 300-7505. For questions regarding your plan of treatment, please contact your physician.
How do I sign up for MYSilverCross?
At this time, patients can enroll in MYSilverCross while visiting Silver Cross Hospital for a hospital stay or emergency visit. You will be asked if you would like to sign-up for MYSilverCross at time of registration. Maternity patients will be offered access at time of pre-registration. We plan to offer enrollment to outpatients in the future.
What if I didn’t receive my invitation email?
Please check your spam or junk mail folders in your email account. If you still can’t find it, please call 1-877-621-8014 and ask them to verify your email address and resend the invitation.
Can I enroll my spouse, child or another family member in MYSilverCross?
Parents/legal guardians of children under 18 years of age can enroll for access to their child's account. Access will be automatically revoked when that child turns 18 years old in compliance with privacy regulations. The patient will be offered his/her own MYSilverCross access at the next inpatient or emergency registration. Silver Cross will only offer proxy to patients’ family members or legal guardians if specifically requested at time of registration and with the patient’s consent.

Will MYSilverCross allow me to make online appointment requests or cancellation requests?
Yes. If you choose to request, change or cancel an appointment through MYSilverCross, a representative from Silver Cross Hospital will respond within one business day.
What lab results will be viewable in MYSilverCross?
Patients will have the ability to view all or components of the following lab profiles: CBC, Blood Type, CMP, BMP, TSH, T4, T3, Lipid Profile, UA, Urine Culture, Vitamin D, HgbA1c, and PSA.
